Our Principal

I'm incredibly excited to be in my 15th year as principal of Lincoln Elementary in Janesville, WI. While being the leader here, Lincoln has achieved numerous accolades, including five consecutive years as a WI School of Recognition, designation as a PBIS School of Distinction, and winning Scholastic Parent & Child’s Coolest School in America. I've been named Administrator of the Year twice and have fostered a culture of innovation at Lincoln, empowering staff and students alike to strive for greatness.

With over two decades in education, I bring a wealth of experience from both small and large districts. I began my career teaching 3rd through 5th grades and later served as an assistant principal before stepping into my current role. My educational background includes an Associate’s degree from Rock Valley College, a Bachelor’s from Rockford College, and both a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from National Louis University. I also hold a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Edgewood College.

Beyond my professional life, I enjoy spending time with my family. I have recently become a grandpa to twin girls. As a family, we enjoy outdoor activities, board games, and I also enjoy working at a local Christmas tree farm—a tradition I've maintained since age 13. 

I'm passionate about supporting the Lincoln community and look forward to continuing to make Lincoln Elementary the place "Where Greatness Begins!"
